One of our Visiting Carers, Theresa, says this about her role as a carer:
"I found you could get paid for doing something that comes naturally to you. To look after people, share their day and to help them. I found that some of the skills I had picked up from bringing children up has helped me.
I love that we can help people stay in their own homes for as long as they want and if someone requires end of life care , that they can remain at home surrounded by their friends and family. Some days are hard, some are easier but its putting a smile on someone's face that makes it easier. "
