We have always considered our AMD staff as heroes but no more than now, when they are turning up every day, undertaking even more stringent hygiene and safety measures to care for our vulnerable, elderly, and disabled clients.
To thank them, we recently made a post on our Facebook page to allow members of the public to leave their comments and thanks for all our key workers in Saffron Walden. This included NHS Staff, care workers, police, fire, delivery drivers, rubbish collectors and retail staff.
Their comments were then used to create a beautiful display of gratitude by a local artist called Helen Wiseman.
We love it because it combines a heart-felt quote from Marcel Proust alongside lots of local details. This is currently displayed in our town office.
