My AMD Care Career

I wanted to become a carer because I've always had concern for the elderly's well being and safety.

I used to help care for my gran before she passed, and it made me feel so close to her, but it also made me happy to not have to watch her struggle with tasks she was unable to do. I always did everything I could to help in whatever way she needed and I have brought that to my care role with AMD.

I respect what they're able to do and help with what they can't do. I feel like I’m getting on well in my career as a carer and I’m really enjoying it. This is certainly the only job I've enjoyed the most! It also helps me feel closer to my gran and that makes me happy.

I feel like I'm part of a wonderful team and I get on with them all very well. I also enjoy the client's company as they're very welcoming and easy to talk to. I hope to remain with AMD Care for a while yet and slowly progress in the care industry.
