A round of applause around the country! Every Thursday at 8pm, the UK has been joining in standing outside our front doors, clapping for those who are working so hard on the frontline during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
People have been clapping, banging pots and pans, playing music and setting off fireworks to celebrate our NHS. Several buildings have been lit up around the UK including The Shard, The London Eye, Blackpool Tower, and Windsor Castle.
At AMD Care, we feel that this is an important part of each week as we know first hand how hard both our Visiting Carers and Live in Carers are working through this global pandemic, risking their own lives to support and care for our lovely clients.
Her Majesty the Queen who said in her recent video to the nation that the Clap For Our Carers was an “expression of our national spirit!”
All at AMD Care will be joining in every Thursday at 8pm to clap for our AMD Carers and all the frontline workers around the UK. We hope you, with your family, will join in showing thanks to those who are working throughout this lockdown so we can remain safe.
