Caring for you at home - even during the coronavirus pandemic

At AMD, we are passionate in supporting people who need assistance at home to enable them to be as independent as possible.
What is AMD doing about coronavirus?
Our main goal throughout the coronavirus epidemic is to ensure that all of our customers and staff remain as safe as possible.
These are unprecedented times and we’re doing our utmost to ensure that the guidance and procedures that we put in place follow the latest advice from the Government and NHS.
Our current guidelines are based on the recommendations of Public Health England and include:
Ensuring that we have adequate provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as aprons and gloves, which we have been supplying to our teams up and down the country.
Staff are trained in how to use PPE and how to dispose of it
We are working from home where possible
Arranging meetings over the phone or via video calls
Asking Live-in carers to extend their booking to prevent the spread of COVID 19, minimising journeys arising from changeovers'
Keeping up to date with the latest Government advise/guidance
Advising general cold & flu precautions to be taken if people are feeling unwell to help prevent others catching the virus.

How can we help? During this unfathomable coronavirus pandemic, we are still very much providing quality care to our clients, and we are also able to support new customers if you or a loved one needs help at home.
Contact our friendly office team today to discuss your care needs and the different options available to you.
If you then decide to choose us as your care provider following your initial telephone conversation, one of our wonderful care managers will be in touch to discuss your care in more detail.
