About AMD home care

 

AMD was founded in 2017 by an experienced Nurse who had spent time working with Local Authorities in senior roles. She was frustrated by the quality and range of care being provided and sought to build a better solution. Since then, AMD has become a leading provider of care in the area, providing specialist care at home for those most at need.

In July 2019, AMD joined forces with the Care Service Ltd. and integrated the Live-in Care Team from Care at Home later that year.

Our support ranges from providing a bit of extra help here and there to full time care provided around the clock in your home. All delivered by our highly experienced and qualified team of carers. 

​

Many of our clients value their freedom and independence but have started to experience difficulties in coping on their own at home. Or at the other extreme, they may have limited  mobility and rather than going into residential care or a hospice, they would prefer to be looked after in their own home. 

 

We aim to provide the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. This means valuing each person’s unique qualities and seeing them as an individual, and not as a list of care needs.
